Shakai is an awesome spot for good sushi, good apps, and a good vibe! I typically come for the happy hour specials! I highly recommend the teriyaki mushrooms, gyoza, and one of their signature rolls, the crazy coconut roll, with fried coconut shrimp, coconut flakes, eel sauce and scallions.

OMG how I wish this place was by my house. I was in town on business and this place was recommended. Not only does their happy hour menu have amazing prices, their sushi was fresh and delicious!

My new favorite sushi spot! Everything was so delicious, including the salmon nigiri. The atmosphere is so fancy so it's nice for a celebration of adults doing anything and want to dress up out of sweats.

Some of the kindest staff members work here and really helped us as downtown food options were closing all around. I returned a second day during happy hour and loved the quality of the food, the prices and the great decor...

SO delicious! We went during Happy Hour on a Tuesday and when we were leaving it was pretty packed, but we had no wait. Every roll we ordered was delicious. I would definitely recommend if you like sushi and cheap beer.
